Here is a man whose greatest work came in the late 1690's, and 300 hundred years later, his violins cannot still cannot be duplicated. Is it because he napped with the violins while they were drying? A secret varnish? A harder grade of wood? I think it was pure mastery and passion, (although we will all argue over this, agreeing to disagree)
